These textiles are transformed into UPtex, a premium recycled material ideal for packaging and other uses.
Recycling Process
Upparel collects clean textiles like jackets, pants, hi-vis gear, and boots from stores such as ours or via paid collection boxes starting at $35 for 10kg. Items fit for reuse go to charities; the rest are shredded into fiber and processed into durable, fully recyclable UPtex sheets.
UPtex Benefits UPtex serves as a lightweight, impact-resistant alternative to cardboard or corflute for packaging, signage, and protection, supporting a zero-waste circular economy. End-of-life UPtex can be returned to Upparel for endless recycling.
